You've been noticed

​Have you met Judy & Linda? These sisters are new to our family, however since day one, they have served many of us in different ways weekly. They dove in last summer with Fun & Friends and have continued working in the kitchen on Wednesday evening as well as working with the clothing ministry. These two gals have a true heart for Jesus and receive pure joy from contributing to our family.

Judy & Linda grew up in Sellwood, they are childhood friends of Candace and Cheryl, in fact... it was Candace who first invited Judy to BSLC. Judy went to Beauty school and was a Beautician for 15 years before becoming a School Cook, where she worked for 27 years. Linda met her husband at her first job at Meyer & Frank, he was playing Santa and she sat on his lap, he asked her out for New Years and the rest is history. Linda also worked as a School Cook for many years. Judy loves to quilt and Linda likes to help, adding her gift for embroidery. I have had the pleasure of getting to know them a bit and they are lovely ladies. They always greet me with a giggle and a smile. Their welcoming spirit and jubilant hearts makes them easy to chat with. I encourage you to make their acquaintance, they will surely brighten your day.
