Young Adults

Tumultuous.  That seems like the perfect word to describe the years that come in between graduating high school and starting a career and/or family.  Some leave town for school or travel, others stay local and begin working or go to school close to home.  Schedules are crazy. Plans are made and then changed...and then changed again.  Some relationships grow while others fade.  It's a crazy and exciting time.  We think Jesus is somewhere in the messiness of it.  

At BSLC, we consider young adults to be those who have finished high school and have not yet turned 25.  We place a high value on our young adults playing a major role in the life of our church as a whole.  We do not desire to extend youth group, but instead want to help our young adults grow and mature in their relationships with Jesus.  Sometimes young adults and high school intersects, especially in service.  It is our desire to move our students toward maturing in their relationship with Jesus and taking leadership in the church as early as possible.
