need someone to talk to?
Our CareNetwork is made up of teams which offer an extra set of eyes to help see
where God is nudging you when your soul feels heavy, cluttered, or confused.
where God is nudging you when your soul feels heavy, cluttered, or confused.
Whatever you are struggling with, this is a kairos moment; a moment to pause and re-calibrate. Our team of ministry staff is here to help get you started.
Our goal is threefold:
A) Provide a warm, welcoming, safe place to start. We want to listen deeply and ask good questions to help you sort through and put a clear finger on the heart of what brought you here.
B) We know that God is at work in the midst of your circumstances and is drawing you toward Him. We invite Him into the conversation and help see where He is present and what He is doing.
C) We will help you identify options for next steps, discover the path that will work for you, and then prepare you for that process. Below are some of the options for next steps within and outside of our body. We all work as a team to offer a broader community of support.
This takes about 1-3 sessions. We will also touch base over the next month or two as you get settled into your next steps. We want to make sure these next steps are a fit and step back together to see what God is doing now and how He is propelling you forward, or where you are feeling stuck.

CareNetwork Teams
stephen ministry
Stephen Ministers are volunteers trained to follow Christ's command to, "Bear one another's burdens". Each Stephen Minister meets with his/her care receiver weekly to provide confidential support through reflective listening, tools for healing, and prayer. They depend on God to provide the “cure” and have bi-monthly meetings together to continually learn, grow, and trust God in their role. See more.
elders
Every one of our members and our small groups has an elder assigned as a support to them. As men who seek to love as Christ loved and to follow Him, the elders are a resource for theological and spiritual questions or concerns. They are also equipped to visit and pray for the sick and hurting and offer communion.
community resources and counseling
We are connected with some incredible supports outside our church community. We have established relationships with counselors, support groups, and programs that are approachable, safe, and have deep experience in your specific area of need. We partner with these resources in supporting you and may be able to offer financial assistance in some cases.
small groups
We are meant to walk side by side with a community of support. That primary community of support in our body most often takes place in our small groups. This community of people is critical to walk alongside you as you navigate your next steps with the above support resources. It is also often the natural community that offers practical support in a time of need.
care response
When someone from our body is in the midst of a life crisis, we strive to connect them well with their natural supports like their small group and their elder so they do not walk alone. We only hear about needs when the person in need, or someone close to him or her, reaches out and lets us know. Everyone experiences turmoil differently. As much as possible, we encourage each person to share their unique hopes and needs to others.
