WELCOMEYou are among friends and familyIf you are looking for a family, this may be the place for you. You would be joining a bunch of normal people who don't have it all together, but want to learn and grow and serve together. You can come and be yourself, standing in the same flood of forgiveness and purpose as the rest of us because of and through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

THE POWER OF COMMUNITY
Community is something we all desire but meeting people for the first time can be intimidating and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. When you enter the doors, you will meet welcoming people that will help make your first experience at Beautiful Savior Lutheran feel like you are among friends and family.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Service Outline:
The service lasts for 75-90 minutes. We begin with worship, move to praying for our family, community and world, join in reading the Scriptures, and then listen to what God is saying to us through a message from one of our pastors.
Style of Service:
We worship through contemporary songs and occasional hymns and value the traditions of the Creeds and Lord's Prayer. Though many Lutheran churches include other liturgies, we keep our services simple and easy to follow. We project words and lyrics on the wall for ease of reading and participating. You are welcome to wear whatever you feel comfortable in when in public.
Celebrating Communion:
We celebrate communion at the end of the service, after the livestream is finished. We are led through the communion process as we quickly proceed forward and then return to our seats. There is wine and grape juice available, as well as crackers that are allergy friendly. People of all ages can show they only want to receive a blessing by crossing their arms on their shoulders. Children can celebrate communion in the 4th or 5th grade after they have received training.
Bibles:
You can use any of the Bibles in the holders on the back of the pews. You are free to take any Bible home if you do not have one of your own to read.
Physical Limitations and Wheelchair Accessibility:
For those who can't do stairs, you will find an elevator located across from the stairs. There is wheelchair seating available for good visibility. If hearing in a large room is difficult, you can pick up a hearing amplifying device at the sound booth by the middle doors.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
There is a nursery upstairs for infants and toddlers. At the Connect Center, your children can choose an activity bag with books and crayons to use during the service.
We love being given the opportunity to minister to kids on Sundays! There are classes for all ages at 10:30 a.m. Greeters will help you find the appropriate class for your child. Children's classes are upstairs in the hallway, youth are downstairs in the hallway and adults are in the Fellowship Hall.
During the Summer, we give our children and youth leaders a break, so there are no classes for their ages. They are welcome to come to the adult class and either participate or use an activity bag to keep them occupied.
