parables: facets of grace
During the Sundays of March, we are going to take a fresh listen to several of Jesus’ parables, and use them to help us understand and appreciate all the more His Passion, that is, His suffering and death on our behalf. Each week will bring another new and interesting perspective to one of these familiar teachings, looking at it from angles we may have never considered before. Like a beautiful gemstone that you hold in the light, turning first one way and then another, we will search for facets of grace we may have never noticed, continually renewing our appreciation for this gem which is our salvation in Jesus Christ, and at the same time suggest how these can be opportunities to create spiritual conversations with others.
