Pray for the Mexico Team
June 16 - 27, 2017
We truly appreciate all your prayers on behalf of our mission trip this year
Travel down to Baja, Mexico
Update: The team arrived safely in Chula Vista after getting through the border in good time.
Work week begins Monday June 19th
Update: The walls and roof are done. They are working on the interior now and making it special for the family. The dad and eldest son are working alongside the team, putting sweat equity into their own home. It is likely they will be done with the house on Thursday.
Friday: The home was finished at noon today. The team will commission the home and bless the family at 4:00 today. After that, the team will go and distribute food to a lot of families.
Sewing Ministry
Update: There are 6 women who are learning the sewing and some are also learning to knit. They have knitted hats for their children. Some of the children are also wanting to learn.
VBS
Update: Had a great VBS with 150 kids and adults. They all received hot dogs and PBJ sandwiches.
Prayers for each individual team members
Update: God is definitely in their midst. They spend one hour every morning worshiping, being in God's Word, and sharing in small groups. Everyone is getting along fabulously.
Travel back to Oregon
Update: They all arrived safe and sound, though tired, at 8:00 am Tuesday morning. We praise God for a wonderful opportunity to be His servants and partners for the Gospel with the brethren of the Baja. The group had to wait a long time to get across the border. They didn't arrive to the KOA camp until 8:00 pm. They had a good sleep and headed out from San Diego at 8:00 a.m. Monday.

We ask for prayers that we would each have God’s heart as we are taking this group to and from Baja. May we have God’s wisdom
And protection. Each day we ask for protection but ALWAYS God’s heart and eyes.
