Jesus has called us to show His love in visible ways, so we love people practically, asking what they need and how we might join them in meeting those needs. Every June, we take a team of willing servants down to join Elia, to serve alongside her, asking Jesus how we can follow Him for the week. Some of ways we join Him are...
• Beginning, building, and growing relationships
• Building a home with one family that has their own land and adds their own sweat equity to their new home
• Distributing clothing and food to families
• Supporting Elia's teaching schedule
• Enjoying and teaching the children through VBS events, with Elia doing the bulk of the speaking
• Teaching women to sew so that they can help support their families with extra income.
• We also support and encourage an indigenous missionary that ministers to her own people year round.
