Just as Matthew portrays Jesus as the King and Mark the Servant, so Luke offers a unique perspective of Jesus as the Son of Man.  He also pays particular attention to Jesus' interaction with those people who didn't have much worth in society's eyes.  He touched the leper, invited Himself to a meal with the despised tax collector,  and promised heaven to the blatant thief who hung next to Him.  He showed love in practical and evident ways.  Venture with us into this well-written gospel account.
