haunting prophets
In the month of October, much attention is given to ghosts and goblins and other spooky stuff. We expect to be “haunted” by the spirits of long-ago as well. These will not be undead zombies stalking us or disembodied apparitions floating about, but holy men of God: prophets like Jonah and Amos, Obadiah and Micah. Each Sunday, one of these will show up to describe in their own words the essence of their message to people who lived thousands of years ago. But the spooky thing is how relevant their messages still are in our day and age!
