All month we live in eager anticipation as stores remind us how many shopping days left until Christmas. But of course the most important preparations are the ones in which we prepare our hearts for the true meaning of Christmas. That’s why we observe this church season called Advent, preparing ourselves for the celebration of Jesus’ first coming, born as a baby in Bethlehem. But it’s also a time to prepare ourselves for His second coming at a time only known to the Father, when He comes in glory. Let the countdown begin!
