THE CHRIST KEY

Keys get us inside of places that are otherwise closed to us. They open doors, gates, and, in some instances, even open hearts. This series, called “The Christ Key,” is intended to get you inside the rooms of the Old Testament. To swing wide the door leading into Genesis. To walk into the wild and crazy hall of Judges. To inspect the poetic furniture and musical décor in the Psalms.
 
But you’re also in for a surprise!
 
You see, ordinary keys get you into a place, but the things you see inside that place are not the key. Not so with the OT! The key called Christ not only opens the doors of every room from Genesis to Malachi, but when you walk inside, what you find there is Christ as well! He is both the key and the content!
 
And so, throughout this series, we are going to look at how, in one way or another, every narrative, every prophet, every psalm, whispers His name and winks about His mission, because Christ is the Key to all of scripture, especially when it comes to the Old Testament.
