BSLC's Next Step


Where is God leading BSLC? The leadership of BSLC would like you to be part of this decision. Seek God in the Word and in prayer:

  • Jesus has a plan to give us a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11)
  • Jesus gives us the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16) and the Holy Spirit (John 16:13) as gifts to guide us.
  • He promises to lead us if we ask (Matthew 7:7, James 1:5)
  • The best goals are not our own but His (A man's life is not his own, it is not for man to direct his steps. Jeremiah 10:23)

Then with His leading fill out the four questions below and submit. (Sunday, April 13th - Sunday, April 20th)

What's happens next?

  • Saturday, April 26th the leadership will meet and lay all the responses gathered before God and wait on His direction.
  • Sunday, May 4th we will share God's direction.
  • Sunday May 18th between services the leadership will host a Town Hall meeting to facilitate face-to face conversation about the proposed direction and goals.
  • Sunday, June 1st the congregation will receive in writing the proposal for the four year goals and ministry plan.
  • Sunday June 8th a congregational meeting after late service will allow the BSLC family to discern and commit to the four year goals and ministry plan.
