Do Good Globally
We have been invited by Jesus to love not only our family and community but our world too. It is humbling to serve in other cultures where we are more learners than teachers. But God is using us in these places.
...to jerusalem, judea, samaria and to the ends of the earth.
Mexico Mission - There are brethren living and sharing Christ among their own people; we have walked alongside them for decades. This includes sending a team for two weeks every summer to help with being a witness in the area (i.e. building relationships and houses, clothing and food distribution, VBS for kids, support medical personnel). We support and encourage an indigenous missionary that continues with ministry year round.
College Students in Eastern Washington - We pray for and support a Cru couple who are loving students and raising up leaders. We are exploring how their expertise can benefit us as well since we are in a city that has many nations streaming to it.
India - Knowing that the greatest influence comes from indigenous people, we provide for a Community Transformation Center every two years. Each CTC has 12 local people who learn how to evangelize, disciple, preach, teach and be self-supporting through a trade. After two years they become full-time evangelists. We have also sent some of our people to be servant learners in a practical extension of our love and commitment.
Uganda - Fountain of Hope Schools and True Worship Centre are in the midst of a Muslim community. In the past ten yeas they have planted seven new churches and seen their local school grow by leaps and bounds.
China - Various people are sent to be representatives and teachers of truth and love. They spend time with people wanting to know English better. Relationships are built over a short time that are then continued via technology, providing encouragement and deep conversations.
Guatemala - Supporting the Rodriguez family as they minister in their church, among the community through provision of efficient stoves, through music and as youth leaders.
"An unreached people group has no indigenous church to proclaim the gospel in its unique cultural context."
