It is hard enough for us to keep our own life in order much less worry about the community or world. But Christianity has a strange way of stretching us. We are called out of ourselves to greater things than we could ever dream. Just ask Kendra who is working with youth in the Czech Republic, or Dennis who is laboring in tsunami-stricken areas of Indonesia or the Mexico mission which for 20 years has labored to change an impoverished region of Baja Mexico. Seriously ask them or start by reading about them. And then dream for yourself.
