Communication from our church family to you
1. Sunday Mornings:
· Bulletin has weekly calendar, upcoming events, prayer list, and the Sunday worship (paper copy from your usher.)
· Video news and upcoming events (projected on the wall before and after worship).
· Verbal Announcements: 2 or 3 items of immediate, primary, or widespread importance (announced after the offering).
· Lobby: information about our church and locations of classes are at the Welcome Center; more detailed information about events will be at tables, or on the
get involved section of the web site
2. Family Update has longer articles about vision and direction for our body (published 1
st and 3
rd weekend of the month; available in print, via email, or on the website).
3. Director’s Board agenda and minutes are posted on the lobby bulletin. Director’s Board members would love to answer your questions or talk about concerns or ideas (phone or email).
4. Congregational Meetings are decision points about goals, ministry plans, budget, and staffing.
5. Elders’ Board oversees the spiritual affairs of the congregation, the senior
leadership body of the church (the congregation is the senior
decision making body),
business meeting minutes are posted in the lobby and on the website); elders welcome your questions or concerns or ideas (phone or email).
6. Staff: monthly report of new or challenging issues being addressed (shared on lobby bulletin board and the website). Each staff member is accessible by phone or email.
7. Shepherds: provide information to growth groups or connection circles about prayer requests and needs.
Communication from you to your church family
1. Sunday Communication Card: This information helps our pastors, elders, and shepherds care and pray for you.
2. Director’s Board: If you aren’t sure where to go, they will listen and direct your idea/concern/question to the proper board, committee, team.
3. Phone and Email: The
staff, ministry leaders,
elders and
director’s board appriciate your communication please contact them with your questions, ideas, or concerns. Please also contact them with encouragement or thanks.
4. Congregational Meetings: 10% of the voting membership may petition the Director’s Board for a congregational meeting on any topic or review a decision made at any level.
