I am all in favor of never falling.  Show me the list.  What do I have to do?  Hmmm…  Apparently, I don’t have to do anything; I have to be.  My calling is to be in Christ and my election is into His grace.  I stand firm when I am sure of my identity in Christ.  Certainly this effects my actions, but it is never my actions which provide my stability.  It is only what has already been stated about me through Christ.  If I am in Christ and Christ never falls then neither will I.  Satan’s lie is to get me to believe that I have to achieve my sonship or earn my election.  Praise God that I am already chosen and already His child.  He is my security, He is my identity.
